"Time and Time again!" another comic from Buzz #3.

Illustrations for "Radioactive!", a youth media program that operates out of KUOW in Seattle.  This program trains teens as radio journalists and even pays them for their completed work.  Their original radio pieces are definitely worth a listen.  These illustrations were made as part of an e-book featuring many of the students’ radio pieces.

I had a ton of fun working on these illustrations!  It’s not the first illustration I’ve done for a radio program, and hopefully it won’t be the last.

"Sparkle, Smile, Sloth!"

Comic from the archives, Buzz #3, 2009

Comics friends! I’ll be at SPX all weekend hanging out at the Secret Acres table with books and THESE tiny paintings (and less tiny prints.)

Hey Friends!  A new session of classes starts at the Old Town School of Folk Music this week, here in Chicago.  Class size is small, which means a lot of individual attention, and the projects can be tailored to students particular interest.  We spend a lot of time hanging out and drawing, and talking about comics.  It’s fun!
Also! Teens receive 25% off the price of an adult class if they mention it when they register.
Check out a class here.
